School Policy

ATTENDANCE POLICY :   100% attendance is required for entire course in order to receive credit for coursework. Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each session of the course. NO EXCEPTIONS ARE ALLOWED. All hours missed will have to be made up in another class. This can be done by contacting our office to make the arrangements.  Student has 6 months from original registration date to make up hours missed.

REFUND/TRANSFER POLICY :  Full refunds will be issued ONLY IF cancellation is received in writing AT LEAST 10 full business days prior to the original class that was registered to attend.  If student reschedules from their original registration course then subsequently cancels, the 10 business day notification is from the original registered course, not the rescheduled course.  A full credit towards the rescheduled course will be given and transferred for a maximum of 6 months from the original registered course.  If student fails to reschedule to a course within those 6 months, student forfeits their registration fee. Should a student require an extension beyond this 6 month period, an extension fee will be imposed. This extension will grant the student an additional 6 months to access the course. Upon the conclusion of this extension period, no further extension will be permitted. No refunds OR transfers will be issued for “NO SHOWS” on class date or for any students who have opted for one of our Bundle Deals. A $25.00 processing fee will be charged for any and all transfer requests. 

TESTING POLICY:  When an exit exam is required to receive credit, the exam will be administered during the class time. A grade of 70% is required to receive credit for any course requiring an exam. Should a student fail to achieve a grade of 70% or higher, one make-up examination will be allowed  within 6 months of the students original scheduled exam date. If the student fails to follow up and schedule the make-up exam, student forfeits this chance. Cheating will NOT be tolerated and student will forfeit their ability to take the exam. Per SC State Law, students are to be given 2 opportunities to take and pass the class exam per tuition.

PAYMENT PLANS:  We will consider payment arrangement upon request. We are happy to work with you! All payment arrangements will have to be done in office, in person. Please note that if you are on a payment plan and still owe a remaining balance for your course, you will not be able to test until the balance has been paid in full. Therefore,  no certificates of completion will be issued.

CERTIFICATE:  Upon successful completion of the course, Pinnacle Real Estate Academy will maintain the student’s information in accordance with the rules of the Department of LLR. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to each student for safekeeping and record verification. We advise you make a copy to keep for your own records prior to sending your certificates in to the State. ALL duplicate certificate requests will be charged $10.00 per certificate.

CANCELLATION : We reserve the right to cancel the course if a minimum number of students do not register. If an emergency warrants the rescheduling of a course, all care will be taken to advise you as soon as possible. In case of cancellation or rescheduling, students will be offered the option of full refund or transfer.
