The SC Broker A and B courses are designed for active Real Estate Associate licensees ready to take the next step in their professional journey. Whether you’re planning to open your own firm, become an independent broker, or simply seek a higher level of education, this course will prepare you for success.

Course and License Requirements

To enroll in Broker courses and earn your Broker license, you must:

  • Have held an ACTIVE SC Associate Real Estate license for at least 5 of the last 7 years
  • Complete both Broker A and Broker B courses (30 hours each)
  • Pass the class exam following the Broker B Course
  • Apply for a Broker License and Exam (National and State) with the South Carolina Real Estate Commission
  • Pass the state exam with a score of 75 or higher

  • South Carolina Real Estate License Law
  • Legal compliance for brokerage operations
  • Practical application of regulations to your business

Important Note: The state exam is based exclusively on the Broker B course content. However, you must complete and pass both Broker A and Broker B before taking the state exam.
